If you are registered, you must be logged in to submit a story. You can submit your story from either the home page or from the section of the site called "My Publishing Center".

To begin the process of submitting your story... just click on the "Submit Your Story" icon. The icon looks like the one illustrated below:

Please note that a RED  field label indicates that a field in required. Although non required fields are optional... it is recommended that you complete as many of the fields as possible.

When completing the form fields... be concise and careful to check your spelling. Make your title catchy... so the reader is drawn to your story.  Be sure to include the Who, What, When, and Why of the story. And give credit where credit is due. Be certain you have a person(s) permission if you are to site their name or some identifying attribute.

Adding an Image

You can add an image to enhance your story. This step must be competed after all of the required fields are completed. To upload an image... click on the browse button and locate the picture on your computer. Once you have selected to picture file... click on the "Click to Upload Your Selected File" upload link.

Note: The file upload process may take a few minutes depending on the size of the file and your connection speed!

Once the file has been uploaded you will see a confirmation message located in the same area where the image upload "Browse" button was when you selected your file. It may be necessary for you to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the confirmation message as the browser may take you back to the top of the page when the file upload process completes.

You are now ready to submit your story. Your story will post immediately and be viewable by all visitors of the site. If you would like... you may check over the form before submitting. If you are happy with what you have already entered... click on the "Submit Story" button.

Upon successful submission of your story... you should see the story in the story list of the home page as well as in the section titled "My Publishing Center". Be sure to check the tutorial for My Publishing Center to learn more about your personal publishing area.
